Hello there!

My name is:

Emilio Jesus Enriquez Vera

I develop my code as I live — with discipline, resilience, and order.
Coding is not just writing, but the art of turning ideas into reality.

About me

Emilio-Enriquez
I am a full-stack developer who loves to merge practical solutions with creativity

My family used to say that I was a crazy scientist in a past life: I've always loved to disassemble toys as a kid and rebuild them. That curiosity stuck with me through high school, where I found joy in solving math, physichs and chemestry challenges.

Today, I see in coding an oportunity to bring to life new projects, develop solutions and keep growing - it started as "just another hobby", but it became part of my daily check list.

As of my work ethic, I can define myself with a quote from Aristotle:
"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit"

A little more about me here

Part of my daily routine includes walks with Thor (my lab), studying and working, spending time with my family and going to the gym. I also enjoy art (concerts, museums, movies), sports like football (I am a big fan of Universitatio de Deportes football club and a Real Madrid). As for tennis, I am a big 3 fan (Federer is my all-time favorite — cliché? Maybe but he was a beast). I also love traveling: getting to know new cultures, specially history and food, we peruvians love to eat.

Skills

I've taken online courses of the following programming lenguajes and frameworks:

My Projects

Taco's shop webpage

Project Type: Responsive Web Design
Tech Stack: HTML, CSS
This was my first fully responsive webpage, designed to simulate a taco shop's online. Working in this project, I gained hands-on experience with HTML structure: were 2 of the most challenging components were building a table and creating a functional contact form.
About CSS, it focused not only on stetics, but also in scalability and maintainability. Using a :root section to centralize design values (colors, fonts, spacing, etc), increasing organization and efficiency making updates in the future.

Weather Page with API

Tech Stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, OpenWeather API
This was my first interactive webpage integrating a third-party API to deliver real-time weather updates based on user's request.
Key Features:

  • API Integration: dinamyc city-based weather retrieval using OpenWeatherAPI
  • Input validation to handle blank or whitespace-only entries
  • 404 error handling with a custom "Page Not Found" view for invalid routes

Notes CRUD App (Django Backend and React Frontend )

Tech Stack: Django (Backend), React (Frontend), REST API, JSON Web Tokens
This was my first full-stack project combining Django and React, I build a responsive Notes CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) platform.
It marked a major milestone in my understanding of backend–frontend integration.
Backend Django

  • Built a RESTful API using serializers, views, and URL routing.
  • Implemented both local and cloud-based databases for storage.
  • Structured models and endpoints to support secure data operations.

Frontend React:
  • Implemented token-based authentication to control user access.
  • Designed dynamic routes for seamless navigation across pages.
  • Designed responsive Contact-me platform with automatic emails to my email using smtpJS and elasticEmail.
